Atl,
I always stay in the San Martin area. It is more congested and frenetic, but EVERYTHING one needs can usually be found on the block that you stay on.
I mean locoturios, grocery, restaurants, laundry, pubs, bars etc.
Furthermore, you are within easy walking distance of Orleans and Excedra (Chica Cafes), the Triangle (Cattos, Ness, Hook), Apt 921 Suipacha, Jaz, Cutty Sark, and the often reviewed Dick heads Maria.
For shopping and prime chica watching you are right there at the pedestrian streets of Florida and Lavalle. Great for food, leather, locutorios etc.
You are close to Recoletta (3-5 pesos taxi) should you desire those clubs:
Affaire, Madahos, Black, Shampoo etc.
I find downtown to be more "real" while Recoletta is more for tourist and well to do Argentinians. There are good restaurants in Recoletta, but at a premium price as well. I find San MArtin/DT to be of a better value. So it depends on ones taste. I also like the downtown clubs. I totally find the girls to less cut throat over negotiations and overall alot less dough for your blow! Bottom line it depends on ones personal choice.
If you stay in SM/DT it is possible to never have to take a taxi to get what you want/need. If you like energy then this is the place. If you want more peace and quiet then Recolleta/Palermo is a better choice (with the result in having to pay more and not be self contained within a city block/street.).
For maps: see Moon Dogs section on this site. Great maps with all the right places highlighted
Hope this helps.

Except I like the Wilton Hotel, a little pricey at $60.00 US a night it's on the corner of Callao and Santa Fe and the neighborhood is great. The Hotel staff is great except for the red headed (expletive deleted) that works the afternoon shift.

If it's anytime soon you could take them to the Abasto Mall there is a decent arcade and amusement park in the mall.
If it rains you can buy new leather soled shoes and go to Florida Street. If you get a good running start you can slide from Corrientes to Paraguay.
I think most teenagers would get a kick out of touring the Colon. (that's the teatro not the body part, mi teclado no hablo Castillano)
You could try tango lessons at Mora Godoys studio.
The Recoletta cemetary is always creepy cool and the one in Chacarita is bigger.
You could get them all wired on coffee and pay a taxi driver to scare the shit out of them by driving super fast in the rain.
You could tell them to wait for you on Dickheads magic wall. Interesting things happen when you sit there.
A polo match would be fun. (Don't know if it's the season though)
Also you don't mention the age or sex, if it's a boy over 16 turn him over to the savage beast. Or better yet, give him 200 pesos and tell him to do the best he can, that would scar him for life. As a matter of fact, take the whole family to Excedra for dinner. Who knows maybe the wife has a freaky side she's been keeping from you.
Everybody oohs and ahhs over the ceiling in the Galaria Pacifico. Plus you have the added bonus of the alternative lifestyle types hooking up in the bathroom on the lower level.
As Andres would say, hope this helps.

Guys help me if you can.
Australian guy who will be spending my first week in Rio Oct. 1 to 8.
I have 10 hours to kill in BA airport on my return journey - I arrive at 11am on Sat Oct. 8 - leave for Dulles at 9.05pm.
Now I am figuring that some of you experienced and learned regular BA visitors could give me some invaluable advice as to how I could easily spend this time with a couple of babes and beers rather than stumped up in airport.
Thanking you in anticipation - I look forward to the advice.

If you get there at 11:00 you will clear customs and Imm by noon, take a remis into town get downtown at 1300. You could have the cabbie drop you off at Excedra, have a little lunch and check out whats there. If you see nothing head to Orleans, nothing there go to 921 Suipache and do the two for one. Take a breather and then go for a little walk, maybe tour the Opera House wander Florida or walk up to 1707 Sante Fe (nice walk lots of chicas) fuck somebody else, buy Dickhead a beer then have supper and head back to the Airport arriving no later than 1900.
Leaving the secure area means you have to pay an additional you$S18.00 as an airport tax. Personally it would be worth it to me.
I will be in Buenos Aires from Sept. 16 to 30. Anyone wants to hook up, give me a pm. I will pm my Argentine cell no.

Have arranged with Ana for a pick up (thanks guys) an apartment in Barrio Norte and also packed a crate of magnum condoms (ahem) and plenty of vitamin v / c. I figure I can buy the Gatorade for fluid replenisnment at a nearby Disco market. Is anyone out there in A. P. Land going to be in BA during that time so I can buy them a Quilmes at Excedra?
I will be In BA starting Sept. 29 for a month or so. If anyone wants to hook up PM me or email to [Email Address deleted by Admin].

Hello,
I will travel to Patagonia in November 2005. I arrive in Buenos Aires on Friday, November 18, 2005, where I will stay for a few days. After I travel to Bariloche, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas and Ushuaia, and return back to Buenos Aires.

Thanks
Hola Gents:
I've been away from the Forums a very long time. I moved to Spain and got engaged. However, I have been granted 2 weeks of asylum and a business class ticket to EZE - so I'd like to make the most of it.
Traveling alone and arriving in BA on Wednesday.
Please PM me if anyone would like to meet up for a beer or 2 to pass on some knowledge.
Thanks.
See you there.

All I'll be departing on the 23rd and still haven't seen any of the clubs such as Cutter, jaz etc. I took a walk by them earlier today but wasn't sure it would be smart to attend alone. So I wanted to see if anyone want to do some club hopping tomorrow or Sat. PM me if you're up to it.
I'll be in BA from November 7-12, staying in Recoleta. Love to hook up with any mongers there. Let me know if you'll be there and we'll make arrangements to meet.
I got a pass out of sex prison and heading down to BA for three weeks starting Nov. 5. I am really looking forward to downing a few drinks and some chica action. If you want to get together send me an email.
And Capt. Dave, I think I will stop by the Mansion to shake your hand and pay my respects to the legend.
Asta la vista
Congrats Leonio on your release from prison! Will be in BA and staying in Recioleta during the same period so perhaps we can hook up for a few drinks. If anyone else is in the area during the same period drop me a message and we can hook up and hit a few clubs.
Fides
Hey everybody,
I'll be arriving in BA Saturday for one week. Hit me up if you want to hook up!
Hey guys,
Me and my pal will be in Beunos Aires from Oct. 26 to Oct. 31st.
Let me know if any of you guys are available to hook up!
Gentlemen,
I arrived from Rio a few days ago but work has kept me busy. My local rep has plans tonight so I am able to indulge myself without his knowledge.
I had talked with Roxana and tried to get an appointment with Heidi @ Area VIP. Her mailbox is full so now I am looking for alternatives. I spent a number of hours last night going through the reports but there seems to be many opinions on the clubs and escorts with no definte conclusions. I was here in February and dragged a hottie out of Mahados but it appears that you guys do not recomment the place anymore. For me Rio can be sooo much easier with the Termas, set prices, no drink rules etc. And if you treat the girl right she will come to your hotel when her shift is over.
I am a Canadian who travels here a couple times a year on business so my spanish is limited at best. It seems that at the clubs like CS, Jazz and Newport may not be the place for me. There are also a number of warnings regarding bait and switch with the websites.
I like the standard DFK, DATY deal but am a picky bastard and prefer hard bodies with big fake tits. Any suggestions regarding a club I should try; or a intenet girl? Possibly let Roxana do the dirty work for me?
PM me if you would like to get together tonight for a few drinks and the chase, life can be easier with a wingman.
Confused in BA.
BB
I have arrived in Buenos 2 days ago and I havent seen any chica action, so I'm looking to meet upwith some fellow mongers to show me around.
I will be in buenos for 2 weeks.
After reading all the reports I'm ready for some serious action.
I will be in Argentina March 13 - 24, 2006. This will be my third visit and I did OK the first two times, although never as much as I want. I will be in Santa Fe (where I will go to Club Privado at Primero de Mayo & Juan de Garay - I hope it is still open, otherwise there is nothing there) Rosario (no info on this city, any recommendations appreciated) and perhaps Cordoba (likewise (no info on this city, any recommendations appreciated)
I'll definitely be in BsAs March 19-21 and hope to pack in as much as possible during that time. I probably will stay at the Aspen Towers, which is supposed to be chica friendly, although I have of direct experience of that.
If anyone want to get together, please let me know. I hope to make it to the pool part at the Mansion on Sunday March 19 (it should still be summer weather then)
I will be in BsAs untill the end of November.
If someone from the board wants to meet with me for dinner / drinks / visiting privados / mongering let send me a PM.
I am busy untill 5-6 pm during week days but later on I am free and looking for some good company.
Athough english is not my mother tonque I think I can go along well.
El Greco
I'll be returning to BA in two weeks for another 5 day monger trip, arriving on Thanksgiving Day. Will definitely attend the Mansion Thanksgiving dinner if Jackson and CAPT Dave decide to have one. No more jerking off from here on, I have shifted to leche saving mode.:p.
Send me a PM if anyone wants to get together.
I will be back in BsAs around the 10 of December and staying for about a month. Anybody who is interersted in getting together, drop me a note.
Bob
Hello everyone.
I will be in BA.
From December 7 to may 15 2006
This is my 3rd time here.
And I am ready to try apartment living.
I would like to rent a nice big 2 bedroom apartment maybe someone would want to share.
If that possibility doesn't work I am looking for a nice 1 bedroom.
If anyone knows of the above possibilities please let me know.
Also when I get settled will have time to have a drink with anyone to share ideas and view the lovely sites sounds and women of BA.

StradI hope its $700 all in (including taxes and fees) then yes iits a good deal, other wise it is not. It also depends which frequent flyer program you belong to and I hope you do.
It costs 90,000 AA miles for business RT and on UA I think its 80,000 miles. AA awards have been great to get, haven't tried to get a UA award that far yet.

AA awards have been great to get, haven't tried to get a UA award that far yet.I had to book my May 2006 UA BC award ticket for 80K miles back in July of this year. And it was not exactly the best connection neither, I have a 6 hour layover in ORD outbound.
UA has a R/T coach ticket from PHL to EZE for around $710 (all taxes and fee included) for March 2006. I'll probably squeeze that one in before my May trip.

I'm out of LAX which has a direct flight (via ORD) to EZE. I plan on trying to redeem a BC award on UA somewhere (EZE probably) and I want to hear all about your experiences. AA is my primary airline and awards are easy to get. I have Executive Platinum status on AA and that helps alot.
When I book award flights I always do it online.

I'm out of LAX which has a direct flight (via ORD) to EZE. Do you consider, LAX-ORD-EZE a direct flight? Perhaps it might have one flight number, such as flight number 855, but it's a horrendous routing. I'd also be careful if you fly this as a revenue ticket and want to get miles. Many times, they only give you the direct (as the crow flies) mileage, and not the individual legs.
FYI for west coast guys Aerolineas Argentinas is supposed to start (resume? A nonstop from EZE to LAX soon. I saw it in the AA magazine on my last flight. I think it used to exist but was cancelled after the financial crisis along with many other Argentine routes.

In BA again first weekend of Feb. Don't have hotel yet but will post exact plans later. Any younger guys interested in hitting bars & nightclubs one night?
In any case, wouldn't mind some company to catch dinner and hit the chicas scene.
Guys.
Heading out Friday night last minute. Flight back is Wednesday but may try to extend in anticipation of my good friend VegasFirstTime. Will attempt to create a less contentious report but plan to frequent Blacks multiple times. I'm asking in advance, do not flame if I spend more than 150 pesos.
Thanks guys.

IMHO, black is best bar for most "hot" chicas, but there are some avg. At best chicas there as well. Go late - 4:00AM - to get the best chance to pull one for 200-250P, it worked for me 2X.
Good luck and happy hunting.

Oh, I think there's a chance you could get out the door and only spend 150p. On drinks, anyway.
And if we do give you any grief, are you going to try and get us banned on the ISG (Like calling Norway to complain about Sweden)? Pathetic.

My friend and I will be in Buenos Aires from May 2nd to May 7th. We have an apartment in the Recoleta area. We will be there for women and adventure. We are both 59 so it might be more adventure than women. If anyone is in BA at that time and is interested in some drinks at our apartment let me know.

G'day! Red eye express to Sydney and then Auckland to Buenos Aires.
I'm looking for a new play ground having done most everywhere on the planet. Must say mongering is fun but it's what I do after golf.
Anyone interested? I plan to stay for a few months and will rent an apartment in Recoleta some where as I have found many to choose from, thanks for a few suggestions from this tribe. I also contacted a realestate agency (Reynolds) that were reccommended by Internationalliving and they have several as well. I arrive tomorrow (6 April) at 1 pm and will sort out the apartment situation then will be hoping to get some feedback regarding golf. So if there are any expats roaming around the courses please advise as I'd love to join in if possible.
Hello fellow mongers,
I will be in BS AS from May 24th to June 3rd. It is still early but thought I would put it out there to see if anyone wanted to get together to do some mongering. My spanish is excellent being that my parents were born there. I can help translate as well as avoid gringo pricing. ANyway let me know if you are interested.
Hi folks.
I will be in Bs. As. From May 6 - 20, with one or 2 short interruptions for business in the provinces. Anybody likes to hook up, please pm.

I'm coming back in June for 10 days. I hope to meet and greet many of you.

Will be in town looking to meet up other guys during that time. Should be fun as it sounds like there will be a good mix of dudes in BA at that time. Have already talked with Lowlight, Marak, Moore, MCSE, Baires Pirate AKA Captain Jack Sparrow, and Barney Lobo (Have you made your plans yet Barney? Maybe Jackson can have an AMA meeting during that time?
Let's talk it up now, and get some tentative fields trips lined up for the last week of May. I think I'll start an itinerary thread for that so others can suggest some things to do during that time period.
I'd like to hit some happening normal dance clubs, and give it the old college try picking up on some locals. I would ask Dirk for some suggestions in this area.
OZ Traveler, I will ask you this question in the golf thread, but what's the golf situation been like around BA? I'd like to hit it around when I'm in town.

Hello All,
I will be in BA on business that week and wondering if anyone there during that week would be interested in sampling some of the nightlife. (I find its better to have a running mate during nightly excursions) I won't be available during the day as this is a business trip and must actually do some work.
I speak relative good spanish for a gringo and am fluent in Italian (I hear there are many italians there)
Also, I would like to extend an invation for dinner and / or drinks to Jackson if you are available, god knows the amount of money an time I saved mongering around the world thanks to his website.
Hi Frgethenam,
Invitation accepted. Please call or PM me when you get here.
Thanks,

Hello all,
I guess its about time to start getting out of my shell rather than passively shadowing everyones post here.
About me, I'm making my first trip to BA And in South America in general. When I get approved of my 1 month corporate leave - I'm tentatively making travel plans already subject to boss approval.
I was thinking that I could do Lima to Cuzco and fly from Lima to Buenos Aires, take a ferry from BA to Montevideo back to BA to meet up some friends from Rio & Sao Paolo, Brazil and back here in Canada.
Any experienced travellers outhere? I'll be flying a lot due to time restrictions but I'm also considering reasonable costs involved for flying to different cities.
Please PM me or reply back with your travel experience.
I have high expectations with BA ladies. Since I was spoiled in Prague, Cz back in my exchange undergrad times- good times to be single these days
I appreciate to any of your input. Also, is anyone going to BA this August 2006? I was thinking of renting an apt in recoleta section-do a touristy stuff in the morning and explore the "nightlife" during nighttime.
Gracias all
At last after cancelled visits and cancelled flights I am arriving tomorrow. A few interuptions for business, but looking forward to good beef, good wine and fine chicas.
Ana said that she could meet me at the airport if I did not mind sharing a ride with someone who was going to the Mansion, sounds like we may be on the same flight from DC.
Thanks to everyone who PM'd these past few weeks. Looks like there wil be between 15-20 dudes visiting for the week of Memorial Day.
If anyone would like to meet for dinner Thursday Night, PM or meet me in front of the Hotel Etoile at 9:30pm. The Hotel Etoile is located in the Recoleta Village about a half a block from the boliche Affaire. Affaire is located on Guido which dead ends into the cemetary / park. The Hotel Etoile is located in the Village between Guido and Quintana.
Look forward to meeting everyone,

Hi Guys,

Anyone who would like to meet for dinner around 10ish, call or pm me. I'd like to go to the same place where I met Sly One last night. I can't remember the name but it's located on Carlos Peligrinni and Posadas. Actually, looking at the map it might be closer to Cerritos. Anyways, there's about 10 restaurants in this area where the high brow pinky tippers frequent. I can't remember the name of this restaurant, but it was located under the bridge. Sly One was telling me this place is famous for it's Paella. I had the Sea Bass, and it was sooo damn good. There's another restaurant located on the other side of the street that's excellent as well.
Thanks,
Judd
It's called Plaza de Mayo, I think. That was a damned fine dinner.
Yep, your right. That's why I f-d up with the directions to the place. I thought the restaurant was located on Carlos Peligrini and Plaza de Mayo. Idiota!
Thanks Slugo,

Lads,
I will be in town from July 3 - 12 to make final preparations for my move down later. I'll be staying in Recoleta.
For starters, I'm going to try a monger sampler plate: 1 visit to a club (probably Black's) 1 visit with a web site chica (probably Maryella on Gemidos) 1 visit with an independent chica (Ms. Sol? 1 visit to a cafe, 1 visit to a private apartment (Santa Fe 1707? And perhaps 1 visit to a massage parlor. I may be able to pull it all off, or maybe not. But anyone interested in helping me navigate this endeavor may find themselves treated to dinner somewhere nice.
Also, I will be spending a lot of time dealing with the shippers and customs people, hopefully getting the real skinny on customs requirements for household goods shipments coming in on a retiree visa. If you have a dog in that fight and want to pick my brain towards the end, let me know.

I am arriving in BA on Wednesday July 12 for three weeks, my third visit.
I would like to meet again some of the guys who made last year's trip so much fun (Hobby Fan, Exon, Dickhead, Capt Dave etc) so PM me if any of you can spare a liitle time for a drink or a meal or a sortie into the fleshpots. I particularly appreciated the translation services of various mongers last year. Is there any chance of an mongers' meeting? I would particularly like to meet Jackson to express my thanks in person for this wonderful site.
I have rented an apartment in Florida Street, and I expect that I shall use Roxanna's services as I did last year, and I also hope that places like Jazz Pub prove as profitable as last year also.
Best wishes to all, Wally Foot.
I will be in BS AS from August 4th to August 12th. Short stay but well worth it. If anybody else is going to be in town drop me a line. I know the area very well and my spanish skills are pretty good so I can help anyone with some translations. Hope to hear from some of you mongers.
Someone local please buy Lowlight a 30 peso beer at Madahos. I owe him one. Then I would owe you one, and I'll be back around the end of the year.
I'll be in town for the first time in over a year. My usual compadres may not be available for mongering, so I'm looking to hang out on 15th July. Send me a PM and we can arrange a meeting location. I'll likely start at Orleans at about 8:00pm.
Clean out your saved private messages so we can pm you, thanks.

I just got to BA and will be here through the weekend - I'm staying at Jackson's pad so if anyone wants to hang out drop me a PM or ring the banana phone.
There's many a hole to fill in this fine city gentlemen.
I am coming back in the second half of September. I plan to go to Black and drive up the prices there so it's too expensive for you other mongers.
I'm bringing my business partner, who has never been to BA before. Of course I have talked it up to him. Now I am thinking of what kind of practical joke I can play on him. Perhaps the first night he is here, I will take him to Excedra and then act like this is the only place in BA where it is legal to meet a woman for sex. Perhaps I can get an accomplice to pick up the ugliest chick in the place and talk about what a bargain she is at only $400 US.
Ecept that at times there are one or two girls in the place that are actually do-able. I think you need a place where there are nothing but ugly chicks. C'Mon guys help him out with your vote for which boliche / cafe has the absolutely uglies chicas.

Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking all weekend and have been blown away by the amount of information available. Too bad I did not read this before my last trip:-( It seems that Bs As is a lot different than my experiences in Sao Paulo. The talent pool is every bit as deep, but it is a lot more business and a lot less fun. I am there for fun, so I let my guard down more than I should have. Oh well, sorry for my contribution to the inflation, but I am mending my ways and I promise you I will make up for it. I will be there this weekend (September 1-3) and will make it up to you by buying you a beer. I will be in Cafe Orleans on Friday afternoon wearing a brown sueded jacket. Introduce yourself and I will buy you a cold one as penance. I will be in Excedra after and somewhere in Recoleta on Saturday night. Hope to meet some of you. As further punishment for my sins of overpaying I also promise to post! Any additional suggestions/tips would be appreciated.

Slammer,
I'll take you up on the offer. Some of us will be at Exedra on Friday night, probably after 11:00 pm. Just look for a bunch loud and obnoxious gringos.

Hi Slammer. You wrote:

As you may have read in the São Paulo board (http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=497947&postcount=365), I recently took a trip to B.A. (where I have been to many times) and later to São Paulo. I do agree that the two cities are somewhat different, but I wouldn't say B.A. is any less fun than São Paulo. For one thing, the sheer number of board members residing in B.A. makes being this beautiful city a lot of fun. Second, although there is nearly as much variety here as there is in São Paulo, prices are considerably lower here than in São Paulo. This is true for everything including chicas, restaurants, taxis, etc. It certainly takes some getting used to, but trust me, at the end you'll choose to come to both cities rather than one or the other.
Please do post your experiences. I for one am very interested in hearing the "compare and contrast" type posts regarding the two cities.
Sportsman,.
I'll look for you guys at Excedra.
Member #3313,
Obviously this needs more research on my part! I think my mistake was going to Black and Madaho's first. Regardless, there is NO QUESTION that BA is a much better city, and that is why I bought my flat there. Looking forward to my parole from sex prison and to having a big weekend!
Cheers eveyone,

Hey guys! Who is going to be in Baires in September?
I will be there the 11TH for a week. Going to Sao Paulo for another week and then coming back to BA. Let me know if you want to go hunting. I can speak Spanish and know very well the gata market.
Well, is always something new in the City (exploring is always fun too)
DeAldo.
PD: Capitan Dave. Are you guys coming to Exedra some day next week?
Just wanted to let my felloe mongers know that from Nov. 17th til the 25th I will be in BS AS checking out the mongering seen. If anyone wants to get dinner or hit the clubs let me know. I speak fluent spanish and can help out newbies or just veterans who need some translation. Hope to see you there.

If you come to B.A. this time of year, you had better have a reservation.
I had a hell of a time trying to get one for the 24th of this month. I tried at least 25 hotels.

I think you just have to plan ahead. I found plenty of apartments available, just a couple of weeks ago, and hotels a month or month and a half at a reasonable price. No more Dazzler at $35 a night, though!

As a first time adult visitor to Argentina, I am curious how long you would recommend to make the trip. 1 week long enough? Two weeks to long? What are good travel days into and out of Argentina?
What is a good location to stay? I was looking at American corporate hotels Hilton Etc.
My Only purpose for the trip is relaxation and Women.
I speak fluent Spanish so that's not an issue.
Any Help Appreciated.

Greeting gentlemongers,
I am new to the Argentina site and have so far found a lot of interesting stories and advice. Thanks to Jackson and all the others for putting this resource out there. I am visiting BA Feb. 4th through the 11th. And I would like to invite any fellow travelers and or BA residents to a few afew drinks out on the town. We can trade stories and experiences. I saw there was a dinner in December I am sorry to have missed it. Maybe we can do another dinner in Feb.
Jackson do you have a monthly guild meeting?
LOL!
Here on my own at the moment. Will be here from 26jan till. Perhaps around the 3rd? Who knows. Anyone interested in hooking up for a drink drop me a line.

I am in town from now on until April 1st. Anyone wants to hook up, please pm. I am, however, quite busy, and in the provinces Mon and Tue, but at least a night or 2 "with the boys" and don't forget the girls would be great.
See you,

I will be in BA this week from the 29th till the 7th. I was wondering if anyone knows what the scene is like in BA for live music and bands.
Hi Guys,
This Monday,26th of March at 21:00 I'll celebrate my Birthday with the ones who are in town.
We'll meet for dinner at: MORICHU restaurant on Honduras 5720 (cross street Bonpland) in Palermo area.
King Jackson; the Myth, Mr. Exon123; the Legend, El Aleman; a Gentleman, and the new and nice guys in town!
The table will be in my name Roxana, so I'll wait for you to share a great night in Buenos Aires.
Kisses,
Roxanne
I wish I could be there again. Have Jackson pat you on your ass for me.
Thanks to everyone who has previously posted, this seems like an informative and generally civil site. This will be my first time in BA, I will be looking for lady friends but also trying to find my grandfather's old office when he lived in BA and take in some of the history. (Argentina granted my grandfather a passport when he basically became a stateless person) If you are ever in the SF Bay Area and you wish to know about the scene in SF please PM me, I am very familiar with the "lay" of the land here. I hope to meet some of you when I am down there.

New to the board, but a frequent flyer.
Any cool guys wanna chill, pickup pros and nonpros alike?
As usual I went nuts researching my best options. Ba won I'm there from may 16 till the 10th of June. A very long time if you ask me but then its time to hunker down during the summer months. The news is already reporting all kinds of new stress tactics the airlines will use.
I had a chance to get airfare on LAN for $851 roundtrip from NYC on expedia of all places but my hotel didn't confirm till later. I bought the ticket and travel protection for $986 total. Not bad when LAN. Com is charging 1,123 and higher.
I'm a privado guy. No matter what privado I go to if there is meat for 20 pesos I can find use for it. If I can't you know its chopped liver.
Cheers

Generally, I prefer to credit to a US mileage plan, although you can credit most LAN flights to American Airlines.
I've got two free tickets waiting for me when I get back so the miles will mean nothing to me. LAN provides really good service and numerous movies to watch. Plus I get to load up on "tejas" at the lima airport.

I've only taken LAN to Lima before, and thought the service up front was decent, but about average of Latin American Airlines. (I've flown Taca, Lacsa, LAN, TAM, GOL and Copa) Delta had a $370 RT fare out of NYC to Sao Paolo last night. The cheapest I've seen in quite some time.

Gents,
I'm in town for a few days--I've been to BsAs once before, and must say that I was rather partial to the Suipacha boliches on that trip--though I could be talked into going to Recoleta. And definitely want to check out Cocodrillo, if I can manage to stay up that late.
I'll be staying at the Emperador, speak Spanish fairly well. If any of you are interested in touching base, give me a holler.

Hi All,
I will arrive at the 31. July / 1.8. In BA and stay for my first round untill the 15.8.
Airfares from europe are realy not cheap, 1200 euros / 14 houres flight.
But I will find a bargain.
Any recomandations about arriving in BA, exept that I plan to order Roxanas citytrip at first.
Taxidriver are as crazy as they are for instance in Neaples? Pickpockets, humorless police, places to avoid - any nogo zones?
Do I need my Kalashnikov?;-)
What is a must to be seen, where congregate the mongers, and of course where the highheeled babytigers? What is uptodate, where can I buy condoms with coffeearoma:-)
Nice, lazy Sunday to all, Carnevalistico
Looking forward to arriving back in B. A. Next Thursday, July 30 from Indiana. Only staying for four nights before heading elsewhere (Foz do Iguacu and Paraguay) and then returning for two nights Aug. 9. Staying in an apartment in Recoleta and would enjoy meeting up with anyone available.
I speak pretty good Spanish and some Portuguese and have traveled around much of the world (I'm a travel agent by profession for 35 years)
First time in B. A. By myself so first time to enjoy mongering, though have been to Costa Rica several times as well as Rio a little.

Best,

Fellow mongers,
Doing some business in BA but travelling alone. I intend to use Roxy's services but I also want to chica hunt as well. Since this is my first visit to this fair city, I could do with some amoral support. Happy (schedule willing) to meet fellow mongers for lunch, dinner or drinks as well. My Spanish athough rusty is not too bad.
Any parties at the Mansion or gatherings at Alamo's. Both places (and meeting Jackson) seem like part of BA's unofficial tourist trail.
Saludos.

I am looking for fellow wingmen during my stay. I am travelling alone and this is my first trip to BA. I'm a young highly educated guy in my early 30s. My trip is mostly tour, some business, and maybe some uhumm extra activities. Pienso que mi espanol es muy bien pero yo no se cuando estoy visitando ahi que lo sera. I am hoping I will be able to blend in a little and advance my spanish skills. I have not decided yet if I will contact Roxy, the middle man or middle woman in this case, is concerning. I mean when I was in mexico my buddy and I got completely screwed (figuratively and literally not as much as we wanted) when dealing with the middle person. But it seems you all seem to vouch for her. I have studied this forum and found it fantastic. There are so many tours and so much tourist "noise", and the way this forum distills things down is amazing. If anyone can give me info if the Art Deco Hotel and the Howard Johnson on Florida are "chica" friendly. Please let me know, as I am staying there during my 2 week stay. All the best and happy hunting.
Jak
Jak,
If your spoken spanish matches your written one, you will have no problems to negotiate yourself. It takes a while to get used to the "castellano" accent, but you will manage.
If you contact Roxana, do it because she is a fun person, and maybe do a city tour with her, she really knows her town, and not only the classic tourist spots.
I highly recommend you to hook up with some of the experienced guys on the board. To bump into them without setting up anything in advance, just drop by at Exedra around midnight and look (or listen) for a table full of gringos.
And for all your other questions, RTFF, almost everything has been addressed at some time!
Have fun
The Howard Johnson is 100% chica friendly. Actually, once you are checked in there is no need to even go past the front desk again. The front desk is on the 1st floor and you can take an elevator from the ground floor to your room. The only thing is that if you have a girl visit you, you have to go down yourself to fetch her as you need the room key / card to activate the elevator. The only thing to keep in mind is that as it's on Florida your cab or whatever has to leave you on either Paraguay street or M. T. De Alvear meaning you have to walk some 30 or 50 yards to the hotel with your bags when you arrive. This is not a big deal but keep, your eyes open for bag snatchers.

Have funMuchos gracias mi amigo aleman. Mi escribiendo y leyendo habilidades en espanol estan un poco mejor que hablando al menos yo pienso. Speaking I am good but one sometimes i am slow, understand it I usually say "Mas despacio por favor". I had a spanish evaluation from a Spanish Professor at the University I go to and she said if I were to live in Buenos Aires it would take 2 months for me to be fluent and that I need to take a class to get used to the accent because you are completely right, the accent will get me. Escribo una amiga de Buenos Aires y ella dice el idioma es Castellano Rioplatense, cualquier, y ella tambien dice con practica puedo hablar como un argentino pronto pero yo no se. Necesito mirar por gringos a Exedra? Muy bien pero yo no quero sexo con ellos!:) I think I will take all of you guys' advice, I think all of you are my elders pretty much. I respect my elders, you guys have alot of wisdom to share! Yes I think I will contact Roxy, (do you think it is too early to do so now or should I just go ahead and email her and her gmail thing? I never had an "escort" experience, and I want it to be good not crap. Also maybe Roxy can get me used to the language a little and talk to me in the thick BA accent. I also want to see the city, and the good food I heard about. Anyone go to this restaurant la cabrera? I heard the steak is great there. Sounds like good times. Where are the most dangerous parts of the city? Is it safe for me to walk around and not take a taxi early in the morning 12-6am por ejemplo, if I will just be at HOJO on Florida and the Art Deco hotel near the obelinsko thing? Do you guys pull out girls and walk to your hotel? That is what I am asking, it is an important detail thing I am curious about. Most of the posts I read were about club-->taxi---> bed.
Thanks for everything I will definitely be a frequent poster here. By all means I do not want to contribute to the chica inflation that alot of you guys have been complaining about so, TEACH MY YOUR MONGERING WAYS! HAHAH We are all in this together. HAppy hunting!

Sounds like the same damn elevator from the hotel my buddy and I went to at Rosarito beach in Mexico, old with key to punch in the floor I bet. We had to tip the hotel staff and security to let chicas in, it was bad. Well this is good news. I heard about the walking, thing is I will attach everything to my hiking backpack. It has a metal frame and has a locked in attachment so if they take the backpack they are taking me too (hope that does not happen) Any good ideas on where to hide my money and how much to walk around with and when? Thanks again guys.
The jak
The elevator is quite modern and the card thing is so no one except a client can get in as it opens almost onto Florida. Don't worry, no one is going to physically try to rob you but as Florida can be VERY busy, you put down a bag, turn around and almost as if by magic it's gone. If it's strapped to your back it's going to be safe!
A money belt offers certain safety from sticky fingers. Once at the hotel, there is a safe in the room and going out just carry a few hundred on you. Leave the rest plus your passport and ticket in the hotel safe. Don't be paranoid, just don't do anything you wouldn't do at home. Easy eh;)

Hello to all.
Thanks for admitting me to this community. Wednesday Oct.10 is my arrivial to Bs As and will be in Argentina for 10 days. I have been there since a couple of years and only now have found your page on interent. It was quite interesting to read all the comments and experiences which in some parts I can share.
Regulary I stay in the little nice Hotel on Esmeralda, between Cordoba and Viamonte. Cafe Excedra is near and one of my favourite places.
Maybe Friday or Saturday evening I have chance to meet somebody of the community.
Spanish language for me is no problem, accent free.
See you arround in Bs As.

The easiest place to meet someone is at the l'Alliance restaurant. Say at 10pm. 945 Cordoba. It is a small place, but the food is good and the price is cheap. It is close to the Exedra. The owners knows most of us mongers.
It is next to the big rip off restaurant, the one with the bull in the door way.
It gets very crowded on Friday at Exedra.

PS I arranged my arrival ahead of the election day in order to supervise and make sure that Argentina is not driven to dictatorship. LOL
Trying his best to stir up shit with El Greco, I see. However, knowing EG as I do, he will surely not take the bait.:D

Been reading the board over th last few days and generally trying to get settled here in BA. Not sure how all you meet up as it seem there is not general meeting place beside the El Alamo, but I do not know anyone in BA and not located centrally. I have heard and by the writings that are going on AP there is actual activity here beside my local Argentine bars. So anyone out there have any advice fro a Newbee?

A good place to meet is at the A'lliance restaurant. The owners speak English and can direct you. There is most likely a monger there once in a while. It is my hangout. It is down the block from the Cafe Exedra at Cordoba and Carlos Pelligrini (next to 9 de Julio).
El Alamo is good as most of the bar people speak English. Most of the mongers are there on Sunday for football.
Dinners are late in be. A. Around 10pm.

I have some free time from May 16th 2008 for 1 month and am planing on a holiday with lots of female company, therefore it will be either BA. or Thailand. I have been to BA only once before and enjoyed very much, but have been to Thailand about 10 times or more, so it makes far more sense fo me to come back to BA. Way, but now for the problem, the weather, so my question for you BA regulars is would I be mad to come for a month at that time of year, what is there to do besides chica time when it is cold and wet.
Before you flame me that Thailand will also be wet at that time of the year, I know this but at least it will be nice and hot.
Thanks.
IPM
May, thats late fall and it will be starting to get cool.
Frankly June, July & August are my faviorite months. And the reason? There are less CockSuckers in town. Yes less CockSuckers!
All the Europen and North American Mongers are enjoying their summers and stay away from the cold of Southern South America's off season. Futhermore the planes are less ful so your chances of getting a better seat are much improved.
What this boils down too is less competition from tourist Mongers.
Maybe some of you have noticed this, take a place like Excedra, or almost any club for that matter. 4 or 5 years ago you'd stop in and there'd be a 5 to 1 ratio of Chica's to Mongers. Now days you'll find you'll find a 1 to 1 ratio and sometimes even worse.
The over abundence of Mongers in high season has a drect effect on both pricing and selection. Moreover the Argentine economy's improvement has brought the local Monger back into the equation. Before the poor Bastard didn't even have a job and no discretionary funds for Mongering. Now the CockSucker is our competitor.
I hate competition.

Question for the Regular B.A. visiters.
Regarding the off season time of May and early June, are there usually any of the regular mongers around and are there any visiting mongers usually floating around or would it be only the Mad Irish man there on his own, with all the chicas of course.
Thanks.

IPMIPM,
There are some year round mongers here in May and June, so you would not be totally without mongering company. The numbers do dwindle however, and I for one am planning on avoiding another winter in BA. If you are from a cold weather climate it probably won't bother you in the least, but anyone from, say Florida, can get bothered by the long winter. A few weeks probably won't be a problem.
Hello everyone,
This is my first time in BA. I've been here since Nov. 3rd. So far I've really enjoyed BA. My only complaint is that is a touch too cold for my tastes. (* I live in Miami *)
Tonight, I am dining with a friend from BA but tomorrow I hope to go out. Anyone have any recommendations for a Tuesday night in BA? I'm hoping to find a nice hottie but not sure the best mongering location for Tuesday's. I like them tiny and cute.
My only complaint is that is a touch too cold for my tastes. (* I live in Miami *)You just happened to arrive on one of the coldest nights in weeks, it being spring / almost summer! We sat out at Exedra Saturday night and were almost frozen to death, quite unusual weather. The weather should be better now.

I have not met any of you guys yet. But I did have my 3 way experience, was okay. I think the best 3 way is when 2 girls are lesbians. Mine were not so, while it was fun it could have been alot better. I also fell into a tourist trap place and got screwed over. I will try to remeber the place that burned me, but IT IS A HUGE TRAP! You all must be warned. Actually I think the place didn't even have a name.
When and were can I meet some of you guys? At Cafe Exedra? What time?

Now if you would have come by the l"Alliance restaurant 945 Cordoba, on Wednesday night you would have met about 10 of us.
I will be there tonight for dinner.
They are having a party tonight starting at midnight tonight. Too late for me.
Some of us will be watching TV today at the El Alamo for college football, tomorrow for NFL football.
A couple of us are planning to go to a Polo match in Palermo, if it does not rain.
Sorry, about your not knowing where to go and where not to go, lots of the places have been posted. So read the fine print.

Totally a Newbie in this "world" and a little curious to learn more. I've already spend hours reading the posts and still so much to read, it's endless. About rates, technics, selection, WOUAHH, should pass an exam at the end!
I plan to stay in BA for 2 weeks, from 27th Dec. To 11th Jan. If someone has a moment for sharing his experience and "wisdom", it would be so great and save a lot of time! (And I could make some use of advices for visiting the city. After all, first time in South America too!

I will be in B. A. on March 5th.
I am using 40,000 American Airlines Miles. The off season starts at the end of February. With those miles you can get two stops. I have used it before for Brazil and Argentina.
I also used it for Colombia and Venezuela with Continental which was 50,000 miles.
United is also 50,000.
100K miles are the normal cost for non-capacity controlled coach award ticket from the US to South America on most if not all US carriers. A capacity controlled award ticket is half that, but usually you have to book that months ahead of time.

Well, I'm in town for a few days. Moving from the semi luxurous Hilton to the downmarket Days Inn. In the long trip down to BA, I managed to mess my ankle up, so am now gimping around.
I'm going to check out an apartment or two for my month long stay next month, and try to get a little steam off at a privado in the next couple of days.

Whatever you do, don't ever stay at the Days Inn Comfort Inn. AC didn't work, their 21" tv advertised online was 13", free wireless internet was non-existent, and their queen bed was two tiny twins pushed together, that would move apart if you slept in the middle.
Let me know if anyone is up for some drinks or churascos or hit the major clubs.

Exon,
After many emails with rental agencies and conversations with AA (American Airlines) yes everything is set. I promise not to do this again at the last moment. Yea right!
Anyway, three agencies were trying to find out what they had still available. The airline was not being too nice about using the miles on certain flights and also how long I could hold a reservation without confirmation. The rental agencies had to confirm with the owners if the apartments were available. Each agent had a differnt situation or hassles to get the info from the owners to the rental agents to me.
It seemed that every time I got the fight plans reset the apartment plans fell apart.
Today, Gabriela at BAiresapartments called back with the owners approval to rent thier place cross streets of Pacheco De Melo and Junin. It's a little more than what I wanted to pay but it seems to be very nice from the pics.
I know that Tomas at BA4U had one place but it was rented during this scirmish. I also tried BM at Renting BA. He had a new place but could not confirm if it was available. He also had others earlier but I could not get the flights set up properly in time.
So that's it.
So I guess I will see you over at Alliance or?

I found a place in Microcentro, 1 bedroom, nice kitchen, living room, high speed internet, phone, on the quiet side of the building for $700 a month.
I wrote an ad on Craig's List, and went through about 15 replies, about 5 of which didn't even meet my stated requirements. I'm a big guy, and don't do well with plastic furniture! I looked at it while I was in BA for a short trip last week, and will stay there when I come to BA in two weeks.

Hello, well its my first post out here. I'm going to Uruguay for a business trip and trying to stay for a couple of days in Argentina on my way to Montevideo. I've been to cordoba before cuz I have an uncle over there and met some girls very nice but they took me hahaha. Well this would be my first adventure, I'm peruvian been in the states for 12 years so my spanish and english are pretty much fluent. If anyone wants to hang out or need assistance with translating let me know, I'm trying to get there Friday may 2nd in the morning and leaving Sunday afternoon. Anyone recommend any places to stay? Anything close to the party / girls scene. I'm into dancing; latin dancing (salsa, etc) I used to help some friends teach it so I'm an ok dancer and usually that's how I meet girls, anyone know a good place to dance salsa were the ratio of females is higher than males. I've been thinking about taking roxannes tour or maybe ana services (might consider hooking up with her hot friend) well I'm just looking for some ideas. Where can I find an apt or a cheap ($0. 80/ night) nice hotel thats close to the hot spots.

La Madeline, Cordoba and Carlos Pelligrini. Don't forget to invite Eric, he most likely won't be there until around 11pm, smoking his Cigar. Can't miss him. He does not post.
I wish I was there for that, but I am home. I hear Jackson is out of town. Maybe some of you guys can have a drink or dinner with a brother Monger?

Hi My name is Kooster and I will be in BA from Sept. 19th to the 25th. I am coming down to be a guest speaker at an Audio Engineering Society conference. The last time I was in BA was two years ago when I was here with the Rolling Stones. Unfortunately I had no time to enjoy the city. I was either recording the show at the stadium or locked in a studio for 26 hours remixing the show for the TV broadcast that followed the next evening. The only part of the city I saw was out of a taxi window. This time I want to truly experience this beautiful city and it's night life. I am divorced and in my mid 50's. Not sure what the the average age of the members of the board are but if you think I might fit in please email me. I will have my cell with me and will be reachable in the evening. 973-420-1354

Hi Guys!
I'll be in BsAs from November 2nd. If anybody wants to hook up for dinner and some mongering, let me know!
Thought I would give new meaning to "Snow Bird." Signed, sealed and delivered, Christmas and New Years in Buenos Aires. Nieces and Nephews will just have to go without this year. Anyway, everyone take care.
1st time here. I've been to Rio and other cities in Brasil 22 times and Asia 12 times and have a B & B in Batam, Indonesia. Love Mongering. I teach CS in the USA and would like to team up for a few beers and stories. Also am looking to invest in BA maybe and live there.
Anybody up for dinner tonight? I want to see one of you really experienced guys for some hardcore BsAs mongering tips!
I'm finally getting back. May take a week trip out of the city for touristy pictures to show the family and let little PC recover some, but drop me a PM if anyone wants to get together for cold ones or trolling for hot ones for hot ones.
Cheers,
PC
Beezer here.
Just got into BA a few days ago. First time ever.
Quite impressed with daytime commings and goings at Orleans.
I have tried a few free lancers at Newport in Recoleta.
300 P average cost.
I would like to find a decent one that doubles as a lunch mate / tour guide during daylight hours. Too much to ask?
We will see.
I am staying in Recoleta (near the cemetary) if anyone wants to compare notes over coffee.
The advice to "dust off the bar pig" seems like it's spot on.
Good luck fellow mongers.

Ya know I feel like I'm at a dammed AA meeting here, but no time like the present- Hi my name is Soi-dog and I'm a monger.
Spent my very best years in and out of SE Asia and decided to branch out to SA. Making my first trip to BA for most of March and found this chat site. You guys are for the most part quite candid, informative, and impressively respectful of the gals. So now that the formalities are out of the way. I now know to find Excedra and Orleans and the action for the most part seems to be in Microcentro? I don't have any sense of proximity, but was thinking of basing in some apt in San Telmo. Are the logistics sound? Any other thought for a newbie?
I don't remember the last time I was up at 4:30 am. Good to know there is afternoon delight around. Thanks.
Was thinking about San Telmo for the ambiance but too many safety references and San Martin sounds closer to the action. Any thoughts?
Great site- Thanks.

I live in San Telmo and it is off the beaten path a bit. You would better off mongering wise, camping in the Microcenter, parts of Centro or Barrio Norte. Or Recoleta. Much closer to the action and easier to navigate around for a newbie. My first time in town was in Recoleta. Exedra is still closed by the way. Suerte.

Hello all,
First, thank to all for the posts and good information that I have been reading about Argentina. I will be arriving at EZE on Thursday morning and have a few questions -
1 - What is the best way to travel from the ariport to Barrio Norte. Cab?
2 - Does anyone know of a gym in the Barrio Norte area? I haven't seen any references to gyms in be. A.
3 - I have been looking at Jackson's maps and think I have found the location of my hotel - Hotel Prince. It looks like there is lots of action in that area, but if anyone can mention a few things close to the hotel it would be appreciated.
Also, if anyone wants to meet at Madahos or Cafe Orleans - or anywhere else, I'll buy the first round!
Thanks for any advice!

1) I don't know if the BEST way, but ONE way is Taxi Ezeiza - http://www.taxiezeiza.com.ar/ - site seems to be broken at the moment but I am sure it will be fixed quickly.
2) I don't know the best search arguments, but health/fitness clubs have certainly been discussed here and in many other places on the Internet. Once possibility, not the cheapest, is Megatlon (http://www.reddeclubes.com/pagina2008/index.asp) - I think that they have one in Barrio Norte.

Hello all -
First, thank to all for the posts and good information that I have been reading about Argentina.

Thanks for any advice!Forget all the pre-planning for taxi travel from Ezeiza to the city. Walk out from arrivals, hail a standard black & yellow Capital Federal cab that will certainly be loitering, ask if he will turn the meter on for the trip. If he prefers not to, the set and exceptable fare is 70 pesos, although he will try for 80 or 90. By meter the fare is about 65 or 70. Simple and no desperate effort required to ensure a hook-up. And there are hundreds of them. If you don't get either of these two agreements, get another cab and don't put your cases in the cab untill the agreement is reached. If he tries to change the deal, stop the cab and get out but it never comes to that. Just be firm and polite. I am there every 3 or 4 weeks and it never fails.

Sorry to say my two weeks in BsAs is over and I am back in the cruel world of bad news and bad looks.
My thought was to come down to BsAs once a year, but I have so fallen in love with the place that I plan to come down in July & Jan.
What's the chica situation then (July)
Certainly they will not be wearing their short shorts and skimpy tops.
My friend (an old BsAs salt) who talked me into coming down in the first place, said "The easy part is getting here. The hard part is the leaving"!
Boy did he have it right.
I have been back in the USA just a few days and I find myself wishing I were back with you guys. I mean girls.
Keep em warm men. I shall return!

Hello fellow Mongers.
New member to this site.
I'm excited as hell to be going to BA, have had a few buddies that went,
And they all sayd you need to go at least once before you die.
I'm originally from Spain.
My plans are to go train grappling and Jiu-jitsu at Freddy Sukara's Gym for a couple of weeks, and catch a few football games.
My interests also stem out into cultural events like museums and jazz / blues shows.
I've traveled plenty, mongered in places like puerto plata, and Havana and can hold my own with women. No babysitting required.
So if anyone needs a good Spanish speaking wing man give me a shout.
I have not decided on which hotel I will be staying at, but when I do I'll post my phone# and cell# to those who wish to get together.
I will arrive in BA on 3rd of April around 3:20pm.
I know that's a little ways away, but I wouldn't mind getting to know a few people online.
Regards.
I made it back in town this afternoon. I'll be in Argentina for about three weeks. I'll be getting sim card for my cell tomorrow, but for now drop me a PM if anyone want to go for a beer and the usual activities.
Cheers,

I've narrowed down my apartment rental selection to three places.
Waiting for a reply back for availability.

Rgds.

Hey there,.
Lemme start with my special thanks to Jackson for letting me in. Membership activation was a real pain in the neck but he manually activated my membership. I'm a long time reader but it's my first post in here. Will write longer with useful reports.
Well, I'm a fully equipped monger, however specialized in Asia and Europe (namely China, Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany and Poland) Also some pro and non-pro actions in Brazil and Mexico, but not in Argentina yet.
I will be in Bs. As. On March 13, for a week or so. Anybody who hangs out with me as a wingman would be pretty appreciated. Yey, at least I will buy the whole rounds of beer. Seriously, please contact me.
Well, even the rookies in here, please PM me.
Cheers,
Jeff

I guess you have not used my Lists?
I also have a great Spanish teacher for you.
My spanish is not very good, but after finding this forum and seeing some of the girls that are available in B. A. I am very interested in figuring this all out and getting a few girls. I'll keep reading the forum but any information you can provide directly will be very helpful.
I have never done this before and do not even know where to begin. All I know is I have been traveling around South America for 2.5 months now and only got laid twice. I want some hot young pussy.
Boys, after a three year hiatus I am returning to the magic City of Love (not Paris) for a jaunt through the meat packing district I. E. Recoleta.
Thought it would be fun as hell to hook up with a few mongers for drinks, dinner and hunting. Anyone in town on April 20-21st?
I have been spending quite a bit of time in China this last two years and while it does certainly match up nicely to the fun tobe had in BA, nothing can top a Porteno chica. Nothing.
Peace,
Scott
Beezer here. I visited a few months ago. Got my feet and a few other things wet.
I am back and staying near the "triangle".
If any one want's to have a lunch or needs a wing man, I am available for a few weeks.
Not an expert but am no longer a BsAs virgin either.

Open late, stop by.
Greetings,
I just bought my ticket for June 11 until July 9. I will be staying in Recoleta.
Thank you so much to "WT69 and TESSAN" for doing such a great job with the privados list. Also "El Alamo" for such a complete response to my questions. There is nothing like information coming straight from ground zero.
I hope to continue those efforts when I arrive.
I will probably do a side trip to paraguay. No promises. I have read mixed reviews on asuncion.
On a more serious note:
LOW END SLEAZE IS MY NAME.
EATING ASS IS MY GAME.
I look forward to it. If I can help a first timer to BA please let me know.

Hola, landed in BA on 4/24, leaving 5/3. I just found this forum, and I really wish I found it sooner! Would've saved me from getting ripped off in one of the 'Pub Show' type places. But that's another story.:)
My co worker and I are staying at the Marriott, looking to grab some drinks tonight, maybe hit up Orleans or some other areas. We haven't ventured too far from the hotel yet (too much work) but we'll have free time tonight.
Shoot me a PM if you're interested. We're both mid 30's and looking to tear it up.
Hola amigos,
If anyone is around next week (silly question! And would like to get together for war stories or go hunting, send me a PM.
My first visit to BA with minimal spanish.

I got in today. Is it me or are the flights from NYC to BA filled with spoiled brats? I couldn't believe how many obnoxious people were on the plane. I sat next to a nightmare of a chica that was driving me nuts with her demands.
I am staying in recoleta at one of sly one's apartments. I must say I am extremely happy. The apartment is beautiful and his assistant gave me a superior welcoming reception.
The apartment is around two blocks from purreydon. A little out of the way but quiet. I've seen jackson's apartment as well. Both are excellent.
After a sleeping pill and a beer I should be ready to roll tomorrow. Ass in face!
