I have used her as well as other members. Speaks excellent english and knows the system for all of us who have applied for 2 year residence. Tell her Tom Oneill recommended.
Good Luck
Just do a yahoo / google search for traductores publicos if you want, there are zillions of them. Choose the one closest to your house. I had the same FBI report translated, 35 pesos and it was done while I had lunch around the corner.
Hey guys,
If I missed this information in a thread somewhere I apologize. But I need to find an official translator to translate birth certificates, etc. For my DNI. I was able to renew my work visa again without the translation but I finally figure I should get my DNI. I've written to a number of people advertised online and I am getting no response. Anyone know a good translator?
Check the website of your embassy. Most likely they will list them.

Good LuckThomaso, this past week I used Viviana's translation services. I found her to be professional, prompt, not expensive, and she translated certain words and phrases in a manner useful when I presented the documents at the immigration office.
She picked up the documents at the apartment, translated them, had them legalized, and dropped them off at my apartment on the agreed day she told me she would have them done.
I've used others in the past and I believe Viviana is the best I've used for translation of documents.
Thomaso, muchas gracias.

I just tried this out on Foro, its totaly readable now.
It was not this good the other day, YAY google.
What is the term for DRY CLEAN when you take your clothes to the cleaners?
Thanks
Lavado en Seco? At least that's how they say it in Peru.
I will try that. Appreciate you helping me out, David 33. The Legend) Just kidding.
Lavado en Seco? At least that's how they say it in Peru. The shop is a tintoria and they generally only do dry cleaning. Just ask them to clean (limpiar) the items. Very, very expensive in Argentina.

Great, thanks for the response. Was looking in the dictionary, but was unable to claiify it correctly.

That's the most important translation.

Do not be offended by TL. If you are successful, it will cut his customers.
As sex is part of this board, you might want to tell us, if you would help set appointments with internet gatitas for the boys here. Many need help. There is another woman who helps set appointments. She get a tariff of us $10 per appointment--so are easy and some are more difficult. Her name is roxanne. She has her own thread.

I am aware of the nature of the board, I guess that is what makes it unique I have no problem helping with appointments, etc with girls, asking what type of service they provide, etc. I have seen Roxanne's thread but was not sure whether she was still doing this or not. I can perform all types of translation or interpreting, apart from appointments, like ordering food delivery, calling cabs, set dr. Appointments, you name it. I still have to think of how much to charge, and now I have to think some more as I would not want to low ball Roxanne. I believe the easiest way to do it is over Paypal. (.
There will need to be a second way to pay besides Paypal for those who want to leave no trail and maintain anonymity.

Done! I will now send them to you and you can see for yourself just how much fun and thankless it is.
And profitable! Ha!
1% of the Guys post and say thank you.
99% will send you a PM with a fake name or a text message to your phone without the courtesy to call you.
One idiot the other day wanted a girl sent to his room but he would not give me his room number or his real name!
Have Fun,
TL.
And here is the kicker:
The girl MUST look exactly like her Escort picture and she better be a ten in bed!
I have never used an escort site and I never will recommend one.
When somebody asks me about an escort site I educate them in 5 minutes and they end up loving me for my expertise and the fact that I help them for FREE!
An occasional jar of peanut butter, etc, that's a given.
I only get paid, and deservedly so, when I conduct a full daytime or night-time tour.
12 hours plus.
So please, take as much as you can get.
Thanks,
TL.

TL.I know exactly what you mean. That is why I go by the saying, time is money. I have helped many others in the past, sharing very valuable information that made them money asking for a jar of peanut butter or pb cups in return. I explain a money making method thoroughly to at least 40 different people, all expat BTW. Want to guess how many jars of peanut butter I got?
Z e r o.
On escort sites, I know quite a bit on the matter. Back in the day I helped a few of the owners get started, a friend of mine would take pix of the girls and I would Photoshop them. The differences and what they ask you to change are crazy!
On how good the girl performs, that is not my problem, you choose her, you accept the price or not, you ask for a specific service, etc. I cannot vouch for any of them. I used to know a few girls, several years ago that worked at a privado on Sta Fe and Rodriguez Peña, and sometimes even the best performers have bad days!
TL, I suppose you try to help out fellow expat mongers and get them to take your tours or recommend you, that is why you go the extra mile, just don't expect to get a lot of thank you's. Have fun while you do it and enjoy yourself. I would never work on anything that makes me feel miserable.
Nikki.
I used to know a few girls, several years ago that worked at a privado on Sta Fe and Rodriguez PeñaThat would be Santa Fe 1707, second floor I believe it was. I met a paraguaya from there who used the name Celeste but whose real name was Blanca, that was the best combination of looks, performance, and personality I ever found. Too bad she was married. Her husband used to wait for her at Los Esclavos while she visited me in her apartment, after she went indy. She and another gal name Jesica (whose real name was María), also from Paraguay, left and set up their own privado but could not make a go of it. She eventually went to Spain.

Most of these girls have stable partners and husbands that live off them. I respect them as workers. In general other women despise them for some reason.
Jesica's partner split when the baby came along. Celeste's husband was a long-distance truck driver; he wasn't living off of her but he could not make enough money to support her in the style to which she had become accustomed and also send money to her family in Paraguay. Jesica was making and selling shoes the last I heard.

Few are the ones that are able to successfully retire, kudos to Jesi.
Except he was working for a paraguayan company doing runs between Asuncióand and Buenos Aires, so he got paraguayan wages, and that was part of the problem. This was Celeste's partner, not Jesica's. Jesica's boyfriend was helping her with the shoe factory until she got pregnant, then he stuck around a few more months and took off before the kid was born.

I didn't know Argentinean's liked peanut butter. I don't really need your services but I'm happy to bring you some peanut butter the next time I come to town.
Most Argies have no idea what peanut butter or maple syrup is. But! Go to any Walmart in Argentina and ask for "DAME MANI" . Its a decent peanut butter made here in Argentina. Now if only we can get maple syrup here.

Worth Reading .
The Argie PB is lacking a lot of things in my opinion, mainly good taste; not really, maybe it lacks sugar like the all natural type that Health Food stores sell.
This stuff does not separate in the jar but you can fill-in a gap between the bricks pretty well.
In China town you can find PB sauce which is just for cooking.
My standing order for all the boys that come down to visit me are:
Video Games. P.S.3.
Peanut Butter. Jif or Skippy.
Bar B Q Sauce.
Hot Sauce.
At one point I had 80 different types of hot sauces and 24 jars of PB. The Huge Jars!
Now I'm out again!
The last 2 came from New Zealand but the American stuff is still the best!
One guy brought me a CASE! All the way from Canada!
Thanks,
TL.
Let's get back to the Chicas!
I think I know where there are about 80 bottles of Maple Syrup and Pancake Mix , American and Canadian products .
Unmentionable here but I can ask .

SF, CA, 30 days, full on breakfast, with eggs, waffles, hash browns, maple syrup, sausages and bacon every day and magically I found myself back in Arg with 6 extra pounds! WTF! But it was soooooooooooo good! I sometimes replace with Kero corn syrup, but it is not the same at all.
You definitely beat me to it dammit! I'm going to have to start being the wingman too! Yeah let's get back to the chicas! But nobody seems to run into any talking that they need to decipher? Come on don't be shy.

If we bring you it is like taking sand to the beach and it can be a pricy beach at times but it's possible.

One thing, now that we talked about peanut butter, here is some slang: Local women would refer to a small penis as a " mani " (peanut) LOL just bringing us back on topic.

Now what happened to your resto bar? That location is / was monger-convenient!That is a very long story!
The chosen side of 9 de Julio and the chosen side of Cordoba, great landlords that did not over-charge and about 55 hotels in the area that would send about 200 clients a day to the resto right next to mine.
At the time it was the largest and best steak for the money by far, too cheap I guess. Lunch was a normal Argie-Foreigner crowd and at night the girls would come over and hang around and we'd all have dinner and drinks, etc.
It was too much fun and I did not come down here to have fun.
I just had no idea that I would have so many partners when I opened up. Nor did I have any idea about doing business in BA, specially the resto biz!
Municipalidad.
Ministerio de Trabajo.
Brigada.
Abogados de Mierda!
Make every night a Saturday night and there you have it!
Tell you some day in person.
I did meet over 1000 of the Boys from this board and continue to do so on a daily basis.
I'm thankful for that! Great Guys!
Uncle Bob, I think Monday will be 60 days without alcohol. Already 15 lbs lighter without hitting the gym yet.
Oh yeah, my old place is now a fucking "Subway!
Pushed the rent from 3 k to 14 k and now they want 20 k!
The new owner wants out!
He's fucked.
TL.
You can try to look up the old thread:
L'alliance Steak House.
Maybe it's still around.
So to summarize a long story:
1) Never go into the restaurant business anywhere because it's a complete b!tch, 24/7, endless headaches, with a high failure rate.
2) Never go into any business in Argentina because the corruption and bureaucracy are unbearable, to say nothing of the banking issues.
3) Never go into the restaurant business in Argentina (1 + 2 = 3).
Because I have a restaurant background and a business background, five or six times a year I get approached about some kind of food service idea. The list of reasons I don't want to do that sh!t goes on forever.
I do still remember the hooker I fucked in the bathroom at L'Alliance in Dec. 2010. I think her name was (for commercial purposes) Alejandra and somehow I lost my cell phone that night, but bought the only good weed I ever bought in Argentina. So all in all it was a good trade off.
That is a very long story!

I myself avoid the downtown, worked in the downtown for many years and I don't like it, it comes to my mind the ONLY time ever I was robbed in this city was on see. Pellegrini and Santa Fe, just a blick from the police station, I guess those were your old partners on Suipacha.
