I will be visiting BA for the first time April 24 throught May 7. I would like some assitance with the following:

SIM card for my cell phone.

Info on temp membership to Gym.

Best Cafe's to hang out at during the day.

Best day time tourist spots to hit.

Best escort services (price and chica quality)

Best chica clubs.

Best SG locations.

I have browsed though this site but so much to read and choose, perhaps the more experienced ones can lend a hand. I enjoy both site seeing and the companionship of a sexually adventurous woman. Recommendations please.

Also, I am fluent in English and Spanish for those of you that would like some help translating for the chicas.

Thanks,

Santiago.

PS anybody up for a beer drop me a line.

My 2 cents but more info is needed to advise better.

SIM card for my cell phone.

Go to the EZ and buy a moviestar phone, It will cost you all of you$S30.00 and you get 40P of airtime with it. This way your not screwing around with trying to make your phone work here.

Info on temp membership to Gym.

Depends on where you stay, you can't throw a rock here downtown without hitting a gym.

Best Cafe's to hang out at during the day.

Again depends on where you stay and what you want. Hookers or no hookers.

Best day time tourist spots to hit.

Take a tour, 30P hotel will hook you up.

Best escort services (price and chica quality)

Long discussion.

Best chica clubs.

Depends on what you want.

Best SG locations.

I think a better answer would be "RTFF". Discussion of almost all those questions has been done many times.

Hi Hunt99,

But he said that he doesn't have the time to read the forum, and he specifically wants somebody to write a special report just for him.

Give the guy a break, will ya?

Thanks,

Jackson

And got a somewhat nasty PM for my efforts. No good deed goes unpunished.

I had no idea that by asking some questions for some assistance that I would receive such rude comments I would have beem better off keeping them to myself. I just figured that some of the more senior members could help me weed through some of the BS that has been written. And BTW I have read through alot of the forum comments and have found alot of BS and personal attacks of opinions. My mistake for assuming common courtesies to one another.

I gave you my opinion on the questions you asked. I said for some of them more info was needed. I did my best to keep you from wasting a day on the sim card issue like another monger I know just did. Your PM to me was rude and ungrateful. I have no desire to continue this flame so I won't answer again. Best of luck on your trip here.

Santiago:

Our friend "Andres" used to have a section of his own on the old WSG. Unfortuantely I can not find his section anymore and I assume it may have been merged with the rest of the reports.

At any rate, do a search by username for him and go back to early 2003. His posts are very factual, up to the point, informative, and without any editorials. Although some information (especially the pricing) may have become a little dated by now, you probably still will get very useful information out of his posts.

And as he would say, "I hope this helped".

Accepted, get ahold of me when you get here and you can buy me a coffee and pick my brain if I'm in town.

With respect to Frans, and I can't comment on the VIP selections, Dolys, last I heard was closed. And for La Biela, it depends on your tastes. La Biela is in the middle of tourist central. If you are looking for something other than that, there are many to choose from. I would check out the board for many posts for cafes. La Biela bores me unstiff.

The dog.La Biela is a traditional Porteno place for the beautiful people "to see and be seen" while sipping their cafe, so I can understand the attraction. Another is Cafe Tortoni:

Dolys is very much open. The cover has been raised to 15 pesos, but it includes one drink or a very large bottle of that nasty Quilmes swill. It was packed last Thursday night. There were quite a few hotties, depending on your tastes but there were snapped up quickly. 70p / half hour, 120p / hora.

Greetings gentlemen, yes it true I finally made it to BA. I will do my best to stick with the program and make the most of my visit so that I can submit some great reports. Anyway, will there be a gathering at the Mansion or some other location where I can meet some of you, for some orientation from some of the masters. Where should I start?

Ciao,

Santiago.

PS did I mention that I am fluent in Spanish so if anybody would like some help tranlating I would be happy to assist.

Hi,

I am somewhat new to this forum, and although I have spent a lot of time on the ISG forum, I find the amount and level of available information here overwhelming; especially if you are used to the standard ISG format of threads.

I have spent a lot of time and paper printing and reading posts here (in other words I have RTFF) in order to map out an efficient and productive three days in BA (for travel in less than three weeks) but frankly I am at a loss at what to do, how much to do and where to do it.

Initially I was supposed to travel to BA in February and had booked the Marriott. I had to cancel that trip, and for this one I have so far tentatively booked the Art Hotel and the Regal Pacific, so I would have at least a place secured. Marriott just seemed to be a little too steep for a semi-g-friendly hotel.

So, to my request / question:

If anyone cares to suggest how I should plan these three days to get the most (and variety) from these three days, I would really appreciate it. Any level of detail is welcome. And if I have missed an existing and particular thread that addresses my query, please let me know.

I am also open to suggestions about changing my hotel booking from the two options referenced above to get more value for the money. To note: while I am not a budget traveler, I am budget conscious; in other words, it just kills me to pay (or have to pay) $5 for something where I can get something similar or close for $2 or $3.

Thanks in advance.

And if I have missed an existing and particular thread that addresses my query, please let me know. I did a poll recently where I asked "What's your favorite mongering style?" As I see it, there are four basic styles available in Buenos Aires.

A Nightclubs / Boliches.

B Private Apartments.

C Internet Girls.

D Cafes and Coffee Shops.

http://www.argentinaprivate.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2842

Interestingly enough, the votes came down almost equally divided among the four. So for a first trip, I would advise sampling a bit of each. First timers often get a lot of help from Roxana, especially when their Spanish is less-than-fluent. She does a great orientation city tour, and can help out in the clubs if you want to hire her for that. Even though my Spanish is decent, I still use her to set up meetings with internet girls.

Another common characteristic of first-timers is that they tend to extend their stays if they can. They have so much fun, they don't want to go home. Apartments tend to be daytime institutions, as can be internet girls. Besides Orleans, there aren't any daytime cafes. Boliches are definitely for your late nights.

Be sure to eat well; Buenos Aires is one of the best restaurant cities in the world. There are many good places reviewed on this board.

Take Exons advice. Additionally if you are here for only three days do not worry about a couple of extra dollars. Longer term stays are more in tune with greater savings. You just won't have the time to hunt out the best deals.

Hunt, Exon and Thomaso,

I appreciate your feedback and comments. While I have never been a fan of tours or tour guides, based on the unanimity of the feedback, I think I just might this time around.

And Hunt, I will keep the exact dates secret, so to reduce the chance of you successfully getting your spies out on me.

Thanks again.
