Bad places

Hi,

I read on here that when you enter some places here in Buenos Aires that like 2-3 girls take a seat next to you and that there are drinks thrown immediatly on the table, then you're asked to pay a ridicilous ammount of money for the drinks that you did not order and that if you refuse bouncers come and attempt to intimidate you.

I am interested in hearing from those that have been in those situations. What did you do? What do you wish you had done differently and such. Is drawing out a cellphone and saying "Bueno entonces yo llamo la policia" a good idea?

I went to this place on Carlos Pellgrini and what you described happened to me and a friend of mine. I speak spanish so I was able to talk some and then told them to call the police if they have a problem with me not paying. I also reached into my wallet and grabbed a 10 peso bill crumbled it up and told the bouncer / manager that if he wants the money to pick it up himself. I threw it on the floor where he had to move to get it. Then I just walked out. If you do not speak spanish you could just look blankly at them and try to walk out. If they stop you tell them to call the police or get someone to interpet. If you see an opening to walk out do so.

Just an opinion based in my bad experiences. Avoid places like;

Cropie it is closed already Carlos Pellegrini near Corrientes.

Tijuana Bar on Lavalle between Carlos Pellegrini and Suipacha.

Cafe Lindo on Lavalle and Florida.

Montecarlo Carlos Pellegrini near Cordoba (near Exedra)

King Gold on Tucuman near Carlos Pellegrini.

Texas on Viamonte between Maipu and Florida.

I am not sure about the address, meaning the pub is on Viamonte but perhaps one street close to trhe 9 de Julio. Anyway the pub could be closed.

Why I am suggestion to avoid these pub, because the mentallity of the managers is to get your money without any girl, any service anything at all. They are tramps to get your money, they do not girls (at least good ones) but they certanly have bodyguards.

About Rouge and Hellas the situation is for me diferent, you can find there good girls, hte big problem is the greek manager and his bad caracter and businesses criterion.

DO NOT go EVER to KA barette the one just next door from Exedra.

They scammed me out whit 300 Dlls. They have no good girls and the only good ones DO NOT work as escorts.

They lied to me and I had to paid the drink for a dancer. And after the Show they told me she DOES NOT have sex whit clients.

EYE::: I asked before if she could go out. They said YES. After 3 drinks she left and I had to pay 150 pesos for each drink. I wasss pissed! Then they call then Super Star, a very hot morocha that makes a College girl Show.

400 pesos for a PRO sex. Like riding a MechanicBull.

Totaly bad the actitude. To make some pesos don't care about thier reputation. Stupid way of the Porte~os to make business. Loosers!

Hella's in Recoletta. Next door from Madahos. Same Story.

300 pesos for 2 drinks whit the resepcionist that is the only good one in my opinion (that day) after the drinks she sudenly felt "sick" and had her period! I demanded for my money back, but guess what! Of corse they ratter loose 100 clients than 300 pesos. Fk Them! DO NOT GO EVER>>!

I couldn't believe it! Also in Recoletta they work this way.

I learned my lesson long time ago but they got me again as an amateur, my mojo did not let me think clear =(those girls where super hot, the perfect hook for the stupid turist.

I just wanted to report this so they can learn a lesson too.

I will report a lot more in the future.

That's true.

I never go into those places, ALL the places that have card-droppers on dowtown stretts are SCAMS. I just tried KA because somebody told me they had good show and nice girls. BUT is another scaming place.

Hellas for me is out of target 100% for my taste ALL the girls that day did not reach the 7 in my scale. Besides the prices are almost as Madahos and the quality is way different.

And the stupid greedy manager just got me in my last nerve. They can go the H. We do not need this crap, there are many good places whit out this risk.

One more advice.

DO NOT trust the taxi drivers. They get a comission for delivering fool tourists to this horror movie places. Read the forum before exploring something new.
