Visited this seafood speciality restaurant in Congreso with another monger tonight. Nice, attentive waitstaff, sufficiently classy understated decor and very good food. Full of cultured, older portenos (no yuppies) A large menu featuring shellfish, a variety of fish, stews, appetizers and the 9 yards. Excellent, big, salty oysters (from Chile) for 2.50p a piece. A definite repeat, in fact, will probably be going there at least twice a week.

Made a trip here last night with a monger buddy for the first time in awhile. Still first class food and very good service. Between the two of us-a dozen oysters on the half shell (excellent) two fish dishes, spuds and a bottle of wine. 190p. A classy place. Still highly recommended.

Thanks Damman. Yes, Moreno 1341, between San Jose and Santiago del Estero.I have never been to Iņaki but I have very often been to the Vasco Frances restaurant on the same block. Moreno 1370. And another in the area is Taberna Vasca on Chile Street between Tacuari and Bernardo de Irigoyen (The East side of 9 de Julio)

If you like this type of food I'm sure you'll enjoy these. I'll give Iņaki a try!
