Did the visa run today with Flexible Horn, met up at Retiro at 6:30 took the train to Tigre and walked over for the boat. Rained the whole way over and I slept most of it. Got to Carmelo and they drove the Casino bus up to the boat so nobody had to walk the 100 feet in the rain, kind of funny.
Took a taxi to the plaza, had a nice lunch.
After lunch Horn was convinced that there had to be a privado close by, we asked a taxi driver and he said, "si hay chicas cerca." he took us on a short drive to a place that reminded me of Boystown. A row of crappy little houses with a crappy little bar on the corner. We go inside and inquire about chicas (I'm praying there are none available) thank God the guy in the bar said they were all asleep and nothing started until 10pm, the cabby said close not available. You would not have believed this place, it was worse than any 40 peso privado I have seen. So now there are no chicas (thank God again) it's raining cats and dogs and the taxi is gone.
He has a beer, I have a coke, 6 pesos AR, and we are talking to this guy a little. The price is negotiated by the chicas but normal is 30-40 pesos, I can't believe that is for an hour, most likely a half but I just don't know.
With an hour to make the boat, we set sail on the flooded streets and start walking to the dock. The rest of the trip was nothing special except for the ass on the duty free lady. She was older and not pretty, but she did have one of those little round asses, in very tight black pants that I like to look at.
Overall, Carmelo is Carmelo, cheapest way to renew a visa, shortest boat ride, nice little restaurant in the square. I can't imagine there is anything really fuckable there, the chicas have to know that a short boatride and train gets them much more money but perhaps some Jessica Alba look a like might be there who knows.
One other thing, my visa clearly said 90 days, today was the 89th day. I entered into Argentina on 8 Dec. And today was 8 Mar. The guy at immigration said I was lucky to be leaving today because it expired. I asked him about it, pointing to the 90 days and he said "si tres meses" I told him today was my 89th day and he said again, "si noventa dias, tres meses." For anybody staying here like me I wouldn't count days, I would go by calender day of the month.
