Please excuse the length. This is my first post.

I'm really glad I found this place! You guys are providing a great service to people like me. I should be going to Argentina for the first time in a couple months (haven't booked yet) - I have a special event to attend.

I live in the States and I am almost 30. The last time I went to South America was when I was in Brazil as a young boy. Needless to say I am very excited about Argentina, especially after everything I have been reading here. I've been browsing through these forums now for over a week and I can't wait to share some stories with all of you - hopefully they will be good.

One thing that has helped me a lot has been pics posted by members. I can't really trust everything that I see on the websites. I understand why the private section has been restricted. That being said, anything you all would be willing to share with me until I have access would be great. Seeing real pictures of these girls really helps.

I'm probably gonna get in touch with Roxanne. My Spanish is very limited but hopefully it will help me out somewhat. I'm going with a group of friends, but many of them may be a little prudish. Regardless, I won't be comfortable being open with them. How does the whole discretion thing work over in BA, especially in the hotels? I definitely want these girls to come to my hotel, as I have no intention going to their place. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up some chicas when we go out, but judging by hat I have been reading, there is somewhat of a divide over there between the pros who give it up on the spot and the regular ladies who need to be courted (even if only for a couple hours) We'll see. Again, I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.

Welcome to the forum. Normally, you don't have to worry about discretion with the hotel staff when a chica visit you even if she has to register at the front desk. Hotel staffs are used to that. A bigger concern is the risk of running into your friends at the front desk with the chica if your hotel requires you to come down to escort her to your room. Another option is meeting the chica in a short term hotel - transitorio. But that will run you another 40-50 peso plus the hassle having to wait for her probably on the streets.

A question for you, why wouldn't consider going to the chica's place, especially when you want to keep your extra activities from your friends?

Thanks. I would much rather have them come through. I don't think I would be very comfortable going to a pro's place. I can't really say why. Maybe because I haven't even been with a pro yet.

Some hotels will let the girl come to your room by herself. Sometimes it will depend on who is on the front desk.

After your appointment has been setup go to the front desk, find out who will be on duty at the time of your appointment, explain to that person that you do not want to be seen in the lobby with your "Spanish teacher" (don't bother winking!) and ask that the girl be escorted to your room by a bell hop. Be sure to tip the bell hop. Or, you can have this conversation when they call you and ask you to come to the lobby for the girl.

Do not be embarrassed to have this conversation with the folks at the front desk, male or female. Most of the males staying there in single rooms, even the Argentines, in fact especially the Argentines, will have "Spanish lessons" while they are there.
