The minimun for paying taxes on your PROPERTY has been raised to $305,000 (pesos) Therefore, if you own a property with a declared value of LESS than that, you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY YOUR ANNUAL TAX OF "Impuesto a los Bienes". And if you do have to pay TAX you do so on a scaled rate. Usually starts at 0.5% and works its way up to about 0.75%.
