Mongers-
El Alamo will be showing Superbowl XLIII on Sunday, February 1st, live on 11 TV's on two floors with audio on the stereo speakers in ENGLISH. The downstairs will have 5 LCD tv's and will be smoking permitted. The newly revamped upstairs will have 6 tv's including a new 42" LCD in the expanded bar area and will be NON-SMOKING for this event. The doors open at 4pm Buenos Aires time with expected kickoff around 9pm Buenos Aires time. I recommend arriving at least an hour and a half early to get a decent seat as last year the place was filled to capacity well before kickoff. There will be a $50 AR consumption charge at the door (same as last year) which will be good for two beers of your choice (Quilmes, Gulmen, Stella, Heineken, Guinness, Corona, Budweiser) OR two mixed drinks of your choice OR two glasses of red or white wine. As always, there will be food available.
