When you found Libertad 374 piso 4 you found the black sheep of the privado business.
This privado has the same owner as Esmeralda 779 PB, Maipu 663, Corrientes 1667 and a few others.
Something went amuck at Libertad 374. The group of receptionists that run 374 have an aversion to telling the truth. You cannot believe a thing they say.
Also the prices vary depending whether or not they think you just fell off the watermelon truck.
The prices for this owner are pretty standard. Conventional is $150 pesos a half hour and $200 an hour. Add $50 pesos if you want BBBJ or anal (you have a choice of one, not both)
In fact, any privado that is charging more than the above is taking you for a ride. The above price schedule is pretty uniform for the top of the line privados in Buenos Aires.
However, independent girls such as some of the washed up babes (used to be babes) on Area VIP often charge up to $600 pesos an hour. Figure that one out.
Why do the receptionists at 374 Libertad act like such jerks? They act like such jerks because they know that the vast majority of American (British, French etc) sex tourists, regardless of how much they have read this or other forums, have no idea how this game is played.

In my last visit I had concentrated on low end privados and high end boliches and was not very happy with the experience.
This visit, I have concentrated on low end (20%) mid (40%) and high end (40%) privados and I am very very pleased with the mixed experience, this combination has provided. This has also helped me negate the need to burn my money at high end boliches or constantly worry about catching skin diseases via low end privados bed sheets .

Captain, don't worry I have already been to several mid range places on this trip and had much greater success than I have in low-end places. I guess I was just lucky on previous trips to BA. Your suggested ratio of high middle and low privados is about right and one I have followed previously. I have also made a couple of visits to triangle clubs. I have not been to Larrea 1072 this time (had some of my all time best experiences there in 2007) or to new "Puerto Madero" privado, but will no doubt visit these in due course.
