How is the chica-market in Uruguay? This would be a good combination to my BA trip. And if the market is good there, which location is the best? Montevideo, Mar Del Plata,

The best part about Uruguay is leaving to go back to Buenos Aires.

ExonI'll repeat something I wrote in a post replying to a question by Imazonzon a month or so ago.

Note that I'm not a big fan of practicing the hobby in that country, and God knows I prefer the scene in BA, but it's not completely hopeless over there, if you're going anyway, or going for any other reason. I have a couple of serious thumbs up recommendations in MVD and Punta Del Este, below:

....The link to a rather helpful forum in the World Sex Guide (especially World Traveler 69's invaluable list)

http://www.internationalsexguide.in...splay.php?f=165

This stuff was a big help to me when I was mongering (or trying to) over there.

I'll just make three points, if you're thinking of going to spend some time there:

1) if the goal is to meet non P4P chicas there as a visiting foreigner with modest Spanish language skills, it MAY be that you will find the average Uruguayan a little less stuck up and materialistic than her Portena counterparts. Uruguyanas are proud of their country, and all that, but they know they are not Brazil nor Argentina, and thus have a much more modest sense of their own relative importance in the world. Some people compare the attitude to one of Canadians vs. Americans, but I don't know about that.

I don't know if you'd find the attitudes there more user friendly than in BA (since I'm only looking for the pros, myself) but you might.

2) In Montevideo, you will find the independent chicas advertising on line as pretty much hit or miss, with maybe a few more misses in that talent pool. What passes for privados are often more like low end night clubs, and are well below BA in quality (and quantity) One exception: StarBene, listed on WT69's list. This is a privado of exceptional quality. It has prices that are about like El Cielo Private on Llarena in BA, but a quality of girls, and a pleasantness of surroundings (especially in the common areas--the bedrooms vary in quality, according to price, believe it or not) also are on par with BA joints like El Cielo. I had a few great sessions there, the best of which, though, ironically, was with a 21 year old Argentine girl named Paola.

3) I personally have come to find the city of Montevideo pretty dreary. It has it's good parts, and good days (and any day that includes a trip to StarBene is a good day!) But all in all, I much prefer the beach scene, out east to Punta Del Este, and its surroundings, in the summer season, to be the highlight of the country. Of course, there you will meet mostly vacationing Argentines! If you do get as far as Punta Del Este, don't miss a visit (or two, or three, or daily) to the Casa De La Nonna (sp?) In Maldonado. Great in-call P4P sex experience, with dozens and dozens of girls all working completely independently, so you can carve out the price, duration, style, and other details of your particular session any way you like!

I've mongered in that exact same Brothel and I'm telling you I'd rather stay home and "Jack Off"

Once again, I'm telling you the best part of Uruguay is leaving.

ExonThe way the "Casa" works is that all the girls work independently, out of their own rooms. Not unlike shopping the windows in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. As such, there is no one enforcing any kind of uniform standard, like Gysell, or other of the better BA privado managers.

So in this place, you walk the halls, and see something you like (early in the evening, the pickings can be very slim, later, they can be abundant) Then you negotiate your deal, independently. Some Spanish is clearly a plus at this point.

Then, what happens can be anywhere from a real bust, to real ecstacy. My first visit provided a lame session that totally conforms to Exon's preference to jacking off at home. (In fact, I went back to my hotel and did exactly that! My second was much better. The third visit was a mixed bag--it was my birthday, and I was in Uruguay, alone, so I decided to celebrate the occasion by buying a chica right at the stoke of midnight. I did, and she was a complete bust. I thought about leaving, but I decided, what the hell, it's a big place, the night is young, and I can just walk down the hall and try to do better. I did, and found a chica who had looks of "9", and who was into negotiating a longer session, with BBBJ, CIM, etc. For an appropriate fee (sorry I can't remember the exact $$$ involved, and sorry I can't remember this gem's name, either. A bit drunk at the time, I fear--full of birthday wine) She had the greatest repratoire! The BBBJ, multiple positions, a slow and sultry ball masage, lots of ass-play with condom wrapped toys, and much, much more! What a great 90 minutes with an absolute stunner!

This place is the definition of YMMV, even on the same evening!

Took off for Montevideo last Thursday night by car. The crossing into Uruguay at Fray Bentos has been closed for 4 years by protesters wanting a paper mill in Uruguay to close down. Fat chance! The Finns who built it ploughed 1 Billion into it. The crossing is open at Paysandu, about 4 hours out of Bs As. Immigration and customs took all of 30 seconds and my DNI Permanent Argentine Resident was all I needed. Stayed the night there. I was with a GF and as I drove into the centre of town, about 12.30am, there were quite a few young hookers on the corners. So if you need a top-up on your way through, it will be there waiting for you. Paysandu to Montevideo is 4 hours more. Good roads, badly signposted.

Over the last 20 years I have made the odd obligatory visit to Punta Del Este, by-passing Montevideo. Very foolish of me. Not cheap for US citizens due to the appreciating Uruguayan Peso; probably 15% more expensive than Argentina. Hard to believe that 2 countries with a common European heritage could be so socially different. People were friendly, straight forward and kind, without the sinister feel that you sometimes get here. Food just fantastic; meat much the same as Bs As, but add fresh and plentifull seafood and lamb; and better service and in my opinion, better quality. Had to settle for a fairly ordinary hotel, (HOTEL GRAND AMERICAN, U$54 a night) as there was a MERCOSUR conference and the Latin American Beach Sport Competion on, but it wasn't bad and was right downtown on Av Rio Negra. Very convienient. Great, great street market on Sunday. Weather very oceanic and the city feels like a port city. Highly recommended for a trip of a few days. I had 5 and could have done with a few more days. Will repeat for sure. Direct ferry and flights from Bs As.

Can anyone take a stab at comparing the physical appearance of non pro Uruguayans with ladies from BA? (I get the impression that BA ladies are more attractive - definitely more bitchy)

And if the place is 15% more expensive than BA, does that mean that it costs the same amount as; Miami; Atlanta; LA? Mas or Manos

Iamzonzon,

No offense dude, but you're just going to have to come down here someday and see things for yourself! :)

LOL I know dude. I must be getting hard to take.

I got a hard-on for the southern cone (Actually, skinny chicks that are a little more gameful). But I have some commitments. I have another month in the DR and two in Colombia. (things could be worse)

BUT THEN, I look forward to my first visit to BA. I will try to stay about 3 weeks so that I take a good look around and stop all the BS questions:)

OK, all you visa-renewers and other guys stuck waiting for a boat. Spare me the reviews on how lousy the mongering scene is in Uruguay; I've heard 'em all from you before.

BUT, if I'm going to be spending a night in Colonia for a night, regardless, does anyone know where I can go, privado or massage parlor wise, or anything else wise, re: sex? (I know where to stay, eat, drink, and gamble, or at least I sort of do)

Thank you for any helpful (and not cynical) advice.

I have friends in Colonia they are realy nice and can meet you any time.

These ladies are nice and can help you to find out Colonia Uruguay.

The only bad thing is these ladies are not baratas.

Take care.

I'm spending a few days hunting at a logde near Punta Del Este. Where can I find girls to come to the lodge for some evening fun me and my friends?

Dman,

You have polsted two questions now indicating that you want to be spoon fed rather than doing your homework. As far as hunting lodge chicas go, you need to clear this with whomwever is in charge of the lodge. If they allow chicas, then he will fix you up and tell you the prices. If they do not, then you are SOL.

Maybe Shane (as I am) is just jealous that he not part of your hunting party. However, as any good hunter knows (and a wise monger here once said) when hunting / fishing you have to go where the game / fish are. Even though you close to Punta del Este, which is a great address for what you require Jan.-maybe first part of march, I think unless you spending a bunch more money than what would normally be reasonable you probably are better off to tack on a few days in BA and do your puta hunting here. There was a Toyman story once about a fishing trip where the fishing was horrible (concordia) but the puta was fantastic so guess if your guide does provide some good pussy it may mean that your hunting is less than expected. Please keep us updated as we all want to know.

Rioman,

You made me smile. I come down to BA twice a year to go dove hunting in Cordoba and Salta. Salta is better. In any event, neither of the two lodges I stay at lend themselves to chica importation, and besides, after a day of hunting, I am too damn tired. In any event, as per your advice, I spend 3 days in BA both coming and going. All the best, Shane

Mongering is not good in Punta Del Este. There is some limited Mongering in a small town a few miles outside of town but its not good,.

The format is much like a Mexican Brothel you'd find in a border town, seedy and low class chica's, but the price's are reasonable.

Like I keep telling everyone the best part of Uruguay is either the boat or plane heading back to Buenos Aires, course no one lessons to Exon.

There is one exception and frankly the best part of Uruguay, its Money Laundering if your into that sorta thing.

Its the new "Whisper Place" to hide money from the Fed's since the Cayman's and the like, have been discovered by the Fed's. I'm told their Banks are safe and they "Ask No Questions"

From what you guys are saying, it sounds like the lodges frown on bringing girls in. That's too bad. Nothing sounds better than having a good massage with a happy ending after long day of hunting. I'm going to contact the lodge and see if there is something I can work out.

Somehow I think Exon is soon going the way of the Graf Spee.Yes the Graf Spee is technically on the Uruguayan sea floor, but the captain is buried in Chacarita.

I'm told their Banks are safe and they "Ask No Questions"That's a little dramatic, but there may be a kernel of truth in it. From what I've read in places like The Economist, Uruguay is not exactly a "tax haven," but it's much more so than Argentina or Brazil. The Uruguayan government may have a socialistic bent, but the word I've heard is that they've been careful to keep that divorced from their banking, unlike neighbors who appear more blatantly in the world's financial news.

If Uruguay turns into "Zurich South", would that hurt the neighborhood? And as far as that goes, mightn't Uruguay be more valuable to the argentinos, as a safe haven to hide their stash from Aunt Cristina? Sorry, guys, but I get the feeling that Argentina is the economic "drama queen" of Mercosur, and I prefer "stodgy and safe" for my money.

(That's just the opinion of the most junior "senior member" on the board today - Huh! When did I actually roll over into "senior" membership? Last night at midnight, like a pumpkin?)

The last default in Argentina caused a run on the banks in Uruguay by the Argentinos and the Uruguayan banks also had to shutdown. Argentina is on borrowed time from my point of view and the whole scenario will replay itself again I would think.

Seems weird for my first report to be outside Buenos Aires but you take whatever action you can get when you can get. Hopefully, I'll be able to enjoy what Buenos Aires has to offer later this week.

I was in Montevideo for 24 hours as a Visa renewal trip. I had timed it so I would be there for the arrival and parade for "La Seleccion Uruguay" figuring it would be very lively. Sadly, I got the exact opposite. It was so cold and windy, they cancelled the parade, and most of the locals were on vacation for the long weekend.

I figured I would do some Whiskeria hopping so I could update the list here. The only thing open however was Baires. I was met at the door by Juan who spoke fairly good english and explained how things worked there. Entrance was one drink purchase on my part (UP 260 - $US 13) and if I wanted to take a girl out I needed to purchase them 2 drinks (same price as mine) and negotiate with them directly. I was the first one there at 11pm at night! Large place, about a dozen girls ranging 6 - 8's. They have a pool table in the back so I decided to play some pool and see what happened. I was approached by Marianna who was very attractive, late twenties, dark hair, everything natural (my favorite) We played pool and I bought her a drink. Lots of flirting and grab ass during the game which was nice. She said it was US$100 for an hour and that my hotel (Fourpoints Sheraton) was girl friendly. I said let's play another game and I'd think about it. (As a side note, I never negotiate a girl down if the first offer is in the ballpark. IMO there is somehting negative psychologically about talking less money. What I do is ask for more time so the rate works out to what I expect) She called over her friend Linda and had her turn around so she could grab her ass and then told me she could join us with Lesbianismo included. We proceed to play the next game with me sitting on a bar stool in the corner and the girls playing each other while I watched. They alternated sitting on my lap and rubbing up against me nibbling my ears. A dangerous combination. I decided to give them both a try.

The negotiations were interesting from here. I asked for both girls for 1.5 hours at US$100 and we settled on 1 hr 15 minutes (approx US$80 per hour) with the clock starting when we arrived at the hotel room. I then asked what their limits were (all of this is in 3rd grade Spanish mind you) and they said "All" I said, "not all" and they replied "yes, all" I then asked about anal (which I don't like but is usually a good way to find out if there are limits) and they both said "NO". I said smiled and said, "why not, you said all" and they they finally said no anal and everything covered. It's always like pulling teeth. Anyway, this was acceptable actually, I justed wanted it on the table ahead of time. Would have preferred bbbj but this is not a dealbreaker for me.

Back at the room we all showered (separately) and then the fun began. I went first. (Normally this is where I get nervous about the girls stealing stuff and running but since they left documentation at the desk when we came in I felt more comfortable) After they showered, they both came into the room naked got on all fours on the bed and started a great double BJ (covered) alternating between each other, lots of eye play, and they would also alternate kissing me nibbling various other body parts. After finishing round one, I then watched them together for a while which was decent and more then I expected (lots of kissing and breast play with each other) Once I was ready again, we had hot sex together and I was able to switch between girls at will without condom changes (which has happened to me before and is a total buzz kill) Afterwards, lots of sandwich style cuddling and a mini massage.

So, six drinks (US$13 each) 2 rounds of pool (US$4 each) 2 girls (US$100 each, 1.5 hours) and a cab ride (US$5) US$307 total, 2.5 hours of fun (1 hour of pool play) on what was clearly a very quiet night in Montevideo. Given everything I read about nothing good in Montevideo I was pretty happy. I wouldn't rush out and make this a destination spot but it shows that it is possible to find fun where it is unexpected. Now I can't wait to experience BA, especially if it's much better then this.

If you're a US citizens, you can open an account say@HSBC in Punta Del Este or Carasco, but on the account opening papers, you must agree to sign their privacy rights away in case of inquiry by US govt agency, I am told there are several banks in Uruguay that will Not open account for US passport holders, do not know if true but was told Santander will not, Bandes, HSBC, Banco de La Republica normally will.

It is easy to buy property in Uruguay using an Escribano / a to protect one, and owning foreign property is generally not a reportable asset at this moment in time in the US, though in case of renting summer places in Punta Del Este, one can often cover all their annual taxes, and expenses by renting in summer and maybe want to take advantage of tax deductions available in US tax code.

Was in Uruguay this past May / June, did not monger as got involved with gal, hopefully go back in 2011 and will be able to free my time away from to do some. Glad this site still going on. Happy Holidays.

I'm looking to check out some of the countryside of Uruguay. I have been to Montevideo and Colonia, hating the former and loving the latter. What are some other places to visit away from the coast with things to see of historic, natural, or gastronomic interest? Could anyone recommend visiting Tacuarembo, Salto, Paysandu, or any other cities? How do the women compare in the countryside versus Montevideo?

Dickhead

I spent several days in Salto and what little action I found, I reported on. Uruguay in the interior is very, very, very tranquil. A more cynical person might say it was boring. Not much history there either. A few battle sites and such. The river in Salto is nice. You can cross over to Concordia, Argentina and go up to Iguaz and such that way. Physically, uruguayas from the interior are not distinguishable from argentinas nor from the women in Montevideo, anywhere that I ever noticed.
