An amusement park in Tigre.
I've taken the girls out there a couple of times last summer. For those of you who might be looking to take a chica somewhere a little different, it's not very expensive, and although quite crowded at times in the summer, it can be fun. They have a couple of good rides, although the rollercoasters are a bit of a short ride, but a pretty good thrill.
They have a thing called the Hilo (thread) where you get in a harness, and you can tie up to 3 people together, get connected to a cable above to swing, and another cable that pulls you from the ground, backwards in an arc until you're pretty high in the air. There is a ripcord by one person's thigh that has to be released, and then you drop. You don't quite freefall because the harness you're in (particularly if there are more than one of you linked together) catches the air and slows you a bit, but your heart definitely comes up into your mouth a bit. That ride is something like 90 pesos, about the only ride that isn't included in any park admission ticket, but separate.
The rides all seem well maintained. I never felt unsafe, saw any structures that looked unsafe or overly dirty, etc.
