I have been using an exchange house situated about 30 minutes from downtown for the past 3 years. Yesterday I had to pick up a substancial amount of U$ downtown. The exchange rate available was 3.84 to the dollar.
Getting back to my premises, I rang my exchange house and they quoted me 3.87 on U$5000. An extra 150 pesos. Now the kicker. They deliver the money, usually with-in the hour. I wouldn't think it is something to do for exchanging a hundred bucks but for those people who at times need substancial sums exchanged, it is worth a phone call.
