View Full Version : Thanksgiving Dinner Planning
Greetings Everyone,
I'm planning a Thanksgiving Dinner.
Carefour and Coto offer only frozen turkeys and canned hams.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where I might buy a relatively fresh turkey?
Does anyone know where I can buy an actual ham?
Thanks,
Jackson

The ham should not be a problem.
El Queso should ask his butcher in advance.

Just thought I would share: It is free range from Cordoba. 6.6 kg (they have bigger) at Granja Converso. If you are still looking, I strongly recommend them: http://www.delicateses.com.ar/ They will deliver free of charge or you can go (they are on Billinghurst and Lavalle in Almagro ).

Jackson may need to feed 25 people so a 13 pounder won't work.
Maybe your place has huge ones too.

ExonI'm sure it was fun and the food was great but it could NOT have been as much fun as Saturday night!
Jackson, how did the Turkey bags that I gave you work out?

Great job by Jackson, El Queso and the girls! I heard not one complaint! The only complaint I heard was from Jackpot regarding the rather lackluster performance of the 49ers offensive line.

TLHey TejanoLibre,
The turkey-sized oven bags were the perfect solution, thanks.
We cooked two 10 lb stuffed turkeys, plus a large ham smothered with a honey/brown sugar glaze and topped with fresh pineapple slices.
However, you are correct that a turkey dinner cannot compete with last Saturday's stripper party.
Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll be doing both again.
Thanks,
Jackson

Where is the Photos?Photos are not permitted at my house at any time.
This is due to the privacy concerns of my guests and the participants.
Besides, if I allowed photos, we'd be lucky if we could talk the girls into a bikini contest. Yawn!
I guess you just had to be there.
Thanks,
Jackson
