Anyone know of any Independent Chicas that smoke chala?? This yanqui is tired of asking people on the street and all the escorts I ask say they don't smoke nor know where or how to get it. I don't mind paying a little premium for the service of course (yanqui tax). Send me a PM if any one has any useful info on the matter or can help me directly.

The Escorts ONLY give a shit about Poking and can't make more than a few pesos on smoking.
That is why they act as if they don't know anything! Especially the Internet Chicas.

TLSometimes Poke, sometimes smoke. My experience with some (not all) of the escorts I've been with is that their customer service skills are top notch. I'm sure there has got to be one of them out there that can help. But, like you said, most look at me like I got two heads when I ask. Maybe I need to fuck a rastafari looking chick, LOL.

Given that pot is no longer illegal in Argentina, I'm not exactly sure how he would get into trouble.
For example, I can see some chica, pissed about a payment dispute, running up to some beat cop and telling him that there is a Yankee smoking pot in his apartment. Do you really think the cop is going to give a shit?
Hell, they don't even seem to give a fuck when they're personally observing people smoking in the street.
Thanks,
Jax.

Thanks,
Jax.They all told me that while it was still against the law, none of them could remember anybody getting busted for smoking some weed.
That doesn't mean they are correct, I suspect the law here is whatever the average beat cop thinks it is until you get to court. I think would have to walk up and punch one of them in the face with a fist that was holding a joint to get busted for weed.
I've seen kids smoking weed in broad daylight outside the Temple Bar on Marcelo T while standing 5 feet away from a cop and the cop didn't even look twice.

Jax.You don't think these assholes would miss a chance to shake you down whether its legal or not? Its not just the chicas in this country who have the "what's yours is mine syndrome" , Its almost every one!
A small amount of pot for personal use is not illegal. Pot is not legal and you can be arrested. Not just that, but cops are known for adding a little bit more to whatever it is that you have on you, and that is generally coke. Watch out, this is not the Netherlands. Being gringo, I would be especially careful.
You don't think these assholes would miss a chance to shake you down whether its legal or not? Its not just the chicas in this country who have the "what's yours is mine syndrome" , Its almost every one!I have a different perspective.
In every encounter I've had with the PFA in 10+ years in Buenos Aires, including multiple traffic stops, an altercation outside a bar, a noisy party on a weeknight, and once when I set off the burglar alarm at the AP House, as soon as they know I'm an American, the "inquiry" essentially stops.
As a friend said to me once, as soon as they see that American passport, they don't want anything more to do with you.
There are a number of possible reasons for their forbearance, including the distinct possibility should any shenanigans occur that the US Embassy may get involved, that formal complaints may be lodged, and that I probably have the money the hire a lawyer who will initiate his own inquiry, depose the officers under oath, file numerous legal motions and otherwise make everyone involved miserable.
In other words, it's just not worth their time.
In that context, I'm sure you can appreciate that I don't see any real possibility of any American tourist getting into legal trouble because some working girl ratted him out to a local beat cop for possessing a joint.
Thanks,
Jax
I do not live in the city as you know. Out here in the boondocks they are a bunch of crude uneducated apes. They seem to think that I am in a position to pay more then the average Argie. I've never paid but they have kept me waiting while they tried to convince me...

The Argentine Police have been reporting an increase in the amount of cases of Argentines trying to bring Marijuana back from Uruguay.
Maybe 4 or 5 people a day getting caught at Busque Bus.
They don't file charges if it's small amount and you are an Argentine.
Not sure what they would do to a Tourista.
