I lived in Argentina from 1999-2001,before the economy collapsed.that was a fantastic time,you can find all info in Clarin,apt/escort,the price is around 30-40 pesos that time.
Have not been back for a long,long time,will be in town in the end of this months.It looks as a pretty cloudy picture about the tourism in B.A now.appreciate all advise and tips.

Even though the peso has been devalued, everything is on the expensive side. All the prices have been jacked up. Coffee at Starbucks and other places is $3 for regular. Lunch expect to pay $7-10. Dinner $10-20. Its still an exciting, cosmopolitan, and architecturally beautiful city, but things aren't cheap.

Tres3.A Starbucks in my town in California is $1.95 for a regular brew and goes up from there. And streetwalkers in my area are charging a lot less than $100. Take care.

Bayboy I think you're looking for a different thing than the average. I'm not judging brother, the only dick you need to please is your own, I think your expectations regarding price in general for everything not just pussy are kind of low.

But I did have a good time in BA. Its an exciting city, just walking down Calle Florida is a thrill. BA is still the best city in South America, in my opinion.
Between 2002-07 I went to Argentina 6Xs. Went all over the place: Iguasu Falls, Mendoza, Cordoba, Bariloche, Mar del Plata etc. That was in the early years of the devaluation. The businesses, restaurants, chicas hadn't caught up with it. Big dinners for $4 etc. I know, get over it.
Anyway, Buenos Aires is still one of the most sophisticated, cosmopolitan, modern, classy cities in the world. They call it the Paris of So. America. I just love that Subte system, it goes everywhere in the city for 33 cents.
